Comments about LA SPORTIVA Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoes:

I climb/boulder mostly indoors and wanted a fairly aggressive shoe even though I've only been climbing consistently for a few months. This is a great shoe for edging and getting into small pockets. It has seriously allowed me to climb a couple of grades higher.

Rubber is nice and sticky. This isn't a great shoe for smearing, so don't bother with it on slabs.

By way of reference, I take a size 8 in street shoes and bought this in a EU 37 (size 6). It takes a while to break in but the fit is now perfect.

For outdoor sport climbing I use the lace up version of this in a size 37.5.

This is not a low volume shoe so if you have really flat, wide feet this shoe may not work for you. Fortunately, my feet seem to be able to accommodate just about any climbing shoe and the Miura VS is my favorite.

Comments about LA SPORTIVA Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoes:

I've had the best success with this shoe (and the Five Ten Anasazi LV.) Ive found the heel doesn't move much unless my feet are a bit sweaty. They breathe well. I wear a size 8.5 to 9 street shoe and wear a 37.5 (and thinking about trying a 37) Miura. I wear them for hours straight at the gym, and have no problem with them on longer climbs outside. And I've had just fine success with smearing and some cracks.

Comments about LA SPORTIVA Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoes:

I've been climbing more intermediate to advance routes in the indoor gym and my last shoes just weren't cutting it - I kept slipping off the small footholds or wouldn't be able to smear or stick to a hold in certain positions. These shoes are aggressive and are great for smearing or trying to stick even the tiniest of footholds!

Comments about LA SPORTIVA Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoes:

I bought these as my first pair of aggressive shoes. I usually wear a size 7 street shoe and I ordered the 35.5 and 35 to try. I ended up keeping the 35.5 and they are pretty comfortable after a painful break-in week. I like the fit, the heel stays put and I can crank the Velcro straps as tight as I want. These shoes will hold on to anything, I can smear, edge, heel and get into pockets no problem. I would definitely recommend them and plan to get another pair the next time I need new shoes.

Comments about LA SPORTIVA Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoes:

I wear a size 7 street shoe. I received the lace up version of the Miura in size 36.5 as a gift and they were too tight straight out of the box. I did not want to wear a shoe which is very uncomfortable. I have always wore a non-aggressive velcro shoe since I started climbing two years ago. So I wanted the velcro version of these too for the simple on and off for bouldering and gym climbing. I returned the lace ups and got the VS shoes in the same size after reading about the sizing differences between the two shoes. The shoes fit perfect straight out of the box. The aggressive toe box is taking some getting used to but helps me a lot on the overhung or small foot hold type of routes. You can always trust your feet when wearing these shoes.

Comments about LA SPORTIVA Women's Miura VS Climbing Shoes:

These are excellent shoes, and I've been very pleased with them. My one complaint is that the heel cup feels a little large and loose (which surprised me on a women's-specific shoe). It's still an excellent sport-climbing shoe that I would highly recommend; second only to the LS Testarossas.
