If you like light, that's the one. It is not as nylony as some, it feels like a normal, tough unusually thin, fabric. It feels great, it looks great and it is not too hot in typical overheated indoor spaces. I wear it in upstate NY in winter. Not too many do, though, I think this is what patagonia will describe as "tropical weight". If you need warmth - keep looking. If you want a pair of super light, super functional, wonderful pants - that's the one.

These are great pants when it is just a little cool but not cold out. They are super light weight and dry out quickly.
The fit is perfect and I can wear them all day long. Haven't yet worn them on a serious hike but they should perform well on light trails, but I have a slight worry about tearing on any heavy brush trails ... particularly with thorns around.
