I was looking for some lightweight shorts to stay cool when working, and playing, outside. The material is thin and breathable, but still has good structure. They definitely let me stay cool when the sun is beating down and are so light that they stay comfortable, even when i'm sweating hard.
The inseam is a little tighter than I usually like but I would still buy them again since it is just barely tighter than I like.

I chose these shorts for biking so that I wouldn't have to sacrifice the looks and utility of everyday shorts. These shorts have fulfilled that purpose. They're comfortable, light weight, quick drying, and fully pocketed. They even have a small pocket for mp3 players or cell phones. The only caveat is that they're a little snug in the buttocks, so order larger rather than smaller (I measure 33" waist and ordered size 34 shorts).
