I bought two pairs of these shorts since they were on sale. I usually have a hard time finding shorts that fit because I have muscular thighs and comparatively small hips. I purchased my regular size and they fit great. I have not worn them extensively yet (it's still winter), but look forward to wearing them hiking & camping this spring and summer. The quality seems to be very good, and the material is thicker than I expected. I'm hoping they will be breathable enough. The length is great - not so short they ride up, but not so long I look like an old lady on a safari. Overall, I definitely recommend these!

Honestly, I bought these because of favorable reviews and I know that bodies and tastes vary widely, but they were not a flattering cut for me. Wide in the legs, cuff floppy, black color not true black and will surely become grey quickly. Disappointing.

I'm a 62 yo 5' 3", 110 lb. active woman and the size 2 was about an inch and a half too big in the waist. I would have loved these if they had fit. EMS is not alone in their sizing. I have found it impossible to find good fitting shorts this summer. I returned the shorts to the local store. EMS has a great return policy.
