I wore this skirt on a warm-weather hiking trip last year. It was great -- didn't wrinkle, didn't get dirty, and looked better after a couple of days of hiking than pants usually do. Very easy to move in and kept me cooler than pants. It used to be available in black, though, which I would have preferred to the two brownish-neutral colors they have now. In black or perhaps a nice grey I'd wear it to work, but not in the tarmac, which I have. It looks too technical.

This skirt is perfect. It looks wonderful out to dinner or out for a stroll at the beach. It the perfect combination of flattering (very nice A-line with ties that can adjust the look of the skirt) AND functional (I have ridden a bike in this skirt!) On top of that it is quick dry and is perfect for wear in Washington DC summers, but will transition well to Fall. A+++

There was one skirt available in the store that I ended up wearing almost every day. On-line I found more and immediately ordered. Both colors are great. The fabric is fabulous- comfortable, stretchy, few wrinkles. Better than shorts. Colors go with everything. Only drawback is they are big in the waist. I solved that by adding an additional button to the side. Then I ordered two more in the next size down, which fit perfectly. This is the best skirt BY FAR that I have ever owned. I can dress it up or down with various shirts and shoes. It has a great drape, makes me look skinnier than I am and I've gotten loads of compliments. My Mom liked them so much that she ordered two for herself. I am practically living in them they are so versitile and comfortable.

It looked baggy on me but I probably could have used the smaller size.
Even smaller I didn't like the tie things at bottom sides to adjust length.
