Merino is a great material. Have Smart Wool and Ice breaker. For Tee shirts and long john's Ice
breaker is the best: material feels good on the skin, seams are well placed, and smooth without internal ridges, and appears to last forever. The boxers are a huge disappointment. The ride up problem cited below is real. Several friends bought the boxers at the same time, and everybody complain of ride up. Everybody feels that the pouch supporting genitals is wrongly placed, plus theres a seam horizontally right across the middle. Don't buy these.

A great pouch design is by Obviously for men. Search the net. Material is Modal which does not retain the sweat smell of poly products. Plus the boxers contain just enough lycra to insure the longings do not ride up which is more annoying that a brief cut.

Nice underwear - fits well and looks good. But, inner waitband stitching broke apart on first wearing in four different places. Also, terribly expensive.

I like most of my IB items, but this one is not as useful as I thought it would be. It's restricted to travel usage for me, because the legs ride up too much to use for sports or daily use. Utility of its stink resistance makes it important for traveling light.

I found these boxer briefs to feel amazing against the skin and was my first try with merino wool for a medical sweatig problem I have....and must I say they definately do their job for odor and sweat wicking. For me that is amazing,seeing as I'm used to going through atleast 3 pair of boxers on a normal day due to them being drenched in sweat. My only complaint is a little bit more spandex type material could have been used for guys that are not as big in the thigh area and the longer inseam would help with the little bit of ride I got from them! Other then them minor drawbacks I must say in time I am very sure this small problem will be addressed or offered in different inseam lenghts and a tad bit more lycra would be used for a little more tightness! Also I am 6 ft 4 inches tall and around 165 lbs and ordered a M and have a 33 inch waist and must say the contour pouch could run a little lower as at times I find it not fully supporting all that needed to be! As far as merino wool....I'm sold on everything it claims to be able to do!!!

The fit is excellent and the material is soft. I wasn't sure about wool underwear but I am glad that I purchased them. Best part is they don't absorb sweat the way cotton does.

I think this might be a good product, but I wasn't able to tell. I looked at the sizing information and it made no sense, so I ordered a medium which is the size of all my other underwear. The medium didn't fit, the contour patch was too high. After a while the pouch just slips below my youknowwhats so they aren't any better than any other underwear to me. On the other hand the fabric does feel really nice. I could probably give a better review if they came up with a better way to figure out your size.
