Totally happy with these pants after 4 months for all-round everyday use because they are so comfortable. I wear them to casual workplace, on planes, working around house and yard, and- although they are light-weight- après-ski with a base layer. The knees give when bending or kneeling. They have replaced my cotton khakis because they look good and are way more comfortable especially on long flights where most pants seize the crotch (carpe inguen?). Gave them as gift to retired army colonel who does a lot of camping and motorcycle riding who also loves them. One small complaint: Only the right rear pocket has a safety flap to prevent wallet falling out. I prefer the left for my wallet (as do most righties- grab with left hand and open wallet with right) but it slides out while seated. Have to train myself to use the right. I'm 5'10 1/2" and had to shorten the medium/long length on one pair but got way with the other (lengths can vary somewhat in the manufacturing process). My friend who is about 5'9" was ok with medium/short. Ideal for travel because they don't wrinkle and dry fast. Order with confidence and spend $8-10 to shorten if need be.

I'm 5'10" and I ordered the Medium Regular Prana Zion Pants. I exchanged them for the Medium SHORT and they were perfect for climbing because it left enough room on the bottom so they didn't get in the way while climbing.

I got these pants a few weeks ago when they were on sale, and took them bouldering with me. These pants fit great! Whenever you are doing a move that requires your leg to be in a strange position, the pants stretch with you. In addition, the pocket is great for access when sitting down. I have a 32-33" waist depending on how much food I've eaten that particular day, and bought the large. I have to tighten the belt all the way, so maybe I should have gone with the medium, but all-in-all, I love these pants. They're worth the money if you're in to climbing or hiking.

Really nice pants. They're snug on me but feel great and stretch a bit so they work well when hiking hard. I haven't tried them in warm weather to see whether they breath well. I like the pockets being mesh, they don't get as sweaty. Brown color is good because they're gonna get dirty anyway.

Reading the reviews really helped me decide on these pants. My wife and I love to backpack and hike in comfortable clothing and these pants fit the bill perfectly. I initially purchased the regular length, medium size, but they were a little bit short and a little bit tight in the waist. I was able to easily exchange for the long, large and they fit perfect. I'm looking forward to purchasing another pair soon for next season's activities. Make sure to purchase your size according to the chart - I was a little too hopeful, especially in the waste.

I first heard about Prana Stretch Zion Pants on a hiking blog, where they were recommended as a better alternative to the more well-known brands of hiking pants. I checked them out and found that, indeed, these pants are more comfortable and flexible that any of the other hiking pants I had tried. The lack of resistance from the material is hugely important over a long hike, especially up steep inclines. The flexibility of these pants also makes them great for biking, where you don't want to show up at your destination wearing a spandex bike outfit. Because of the great look of these pants, you can easily wear them about town without looking like you should be climbing a mountain or something. Because these pants look appropriate in casual situations around town, work well for outdoors activities, are comfortable, and take up little space when packed, I also highly recommend these pants for travel.

Needed to replace worn out light hiking pants and purchased these. Great fit true to size, nice stretchy material, abrasion resistant, breathable, shed dirt and moisture, handy pockets, functional waist belt/buckle, reinforced cuffs. Overall 5 star.
