I use my Vibrams when I want to either be a total hipster, exercise, hang out, or when I don't have clean socks. It took me a little bit to get used to them. At the beginning, they were a bit itchy but just because I wasn't used to them. Now, I wear them and it is like I am in socks. For some reason, I feel more energetic when I'm in them and it makes it easier for me to save attractive women from imminent danger. It's also nice to be able to wiggle your toes. As of recently, I have stopped crossing my toes which was a habit that tore up my feet. I apply that accomplishment to my recent purchase of these Vibrams. Another thing I like is the immediate attention you get when you wear them. If you are in your house the first time you try them on, be sure to lock the doors because people will sprint in to ask you questions about them. If you are a recluse and hate people, I wouldn't get these. If you are awesome and people love you, get them, and they will love you even more. A negative, I guess they can get a little smelly. Quick fix? Wash 'em.

After suffering from constant leg/foot injuries (plantar fasciitis, shin splints, etc), I was ready to give up running. But, instead I bought a pair of Vibrams and have been pain free for months! Now, I look forward to running because I feel so much lighter and more energized w/ these shoes. Love these shoes!

Love the shoes but if you're second toe is longer than you big toe you have to size to it. I also found that I had to about about 1 size to get the proper fit.

As everyone else, I love my new VFFS. I only wish they had Gore-Tex, so you can wear them in the rain too. But other than that, they are PERFECT. Only thing I would like to point ou is that you really must take it easy first you get them, otherwise they'll kill your legs.

I have owned these for about 1.5 years now. I wear them regularly around town when its warm, I workout at the gym in them 3 times a week, and I run in them on the trail and road 4 times a week. It took a while for my feet to adjust especially running on the road. But now I can do a 5 mile run comfortably. I do easy hikes and trail runs in them, but they do not have a very aggressive sole for this. I am not overly impressed with the velcro tabs to tame the extra laces, one has ripped off from use. I wish there was a way to tuck the laces into something. Overall these have been a great shoe and I am hoping to get the rest of the summer out of them. I am starting to get a hole on the inside of the heel and the forefoot traction is getting pretty worn down. These have a lot of miles on them and definitely outlasted my expectations.

I have several pairs of five fingers. 44 fits great. In this shoe, I had to return the 44 for a 45 which feels big.
The seams in the sole are on much better places than the other five finger models. There is a surprising amount of cushioning. It doesn't feel like you are barefoot and my barefoot form has gotten a little sloppy because I can cheat and land on my midfoot or even heal. It feels more like a hybrid than a minimalist shoe. It will be popular with many making the transition to bare feet or a more minimal shoe.
