Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Solstice Switchback 25°/45° Sleeping Bag:
Bought it for light packing. Wanted to find the designer and manufacturer so I could make him sleep in it for a week and freeze to death. With a liner and a pad found it did nothing at 35F and 40F degrees. Plus I may note the bag gets a damp feelingas well. The only good thing is EMS stands by their products.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Solstice Switchback 25°/45° Sleeping Bag:
I have used this sleeping bag in mid 20 temps and it did what it said it would do. It is fairly light and packs easily. Perfect for spring-fall hikes. The only problem I had was the zipper snagged easily.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Solstice Switchback 25°/45° Sleeping Bag:
Recommended by salesman to replace one of several EMS bags I have when the zipper broke after 20 years of use. It is not warm at all. I used it as intended(and was very coldat thirty degree weather) but added a $60 liner and a poncho liner and it is still not great!
I wish I could sell it back to the salesman who sold it to me and make him spend one night in it!

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Solstice Switchback 25°/45° Sleeping Bag:
I love this bag. It's like having a light and medium bag with you on a camping trip. At first I had a problem of rolling around too much end ending up with the light side on top during cooler weather. I added elastic straps to hold the bag to the pad and haven't had a problem since. The zipped can be a problem at times but once you get it zipped up it stays there.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Solstice Switchback 25°/45° Sleeping Bag:
Bought to get back into backpacking; very versitile. Wife and I sometimes zip together (wish they were right and left so temp rating matched), they kept us comfy in GC in Oct. with range of 85 to 30 degrees. Light enough, and small enough for 2-3 day trips into backcountry. Good bag.
