Comments about OSPREY Exos 46 Backpack:
I got this pack while thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. My EMS pack broke and I was forced to buy this pack in a pinch about 1,000 miles into the trail. I used this pack for the remaining 1,181 miles of the trail. Although, by the end of the trail, 3 zippers were broken, the mesh had ripped in more than one spot, and I had the frame duck taped together in 2 spots from where the frame had completely snapped in half. Naturally, it felt much heavier because the frame was no longer doing it purpose. But I refused to but a new pack. Its a good pack if you are going on a weekend trip or even a trip lasting a few weeks. If your willing to deal with the hassle of going through 2 or 3 of these pack while thru-hiking then its a great lightweight pack to take. I must stress the point that it is not durable enough to last an entire thru-hike....unless your lucky.
