Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Boreal 20° Sleeping Bag, Long:
I have used Boreal 20 on two backpacking trips so far. I found it to be very warm and comfortable. The temperature dropped into the 40's at night and at times I had to partially unzipped the bag to cool off. I especially like the hood.
I would have given the bag a 5 star rating if it were not for the zipper. The zipper is very hard to get started when it is fully unzipped. Compared to my older EMS LT 20 sleeping bag the zipper is not as good and does not have a pull at the end of the zipper to aid in getting it started.
I am satisfied with this product and expect to enjoy it for many years.

Comments about Eastern Mountain Sports EMS Boreal 20° Sleeping Bag, Long:
Used this on my First trip this year to French Creek State Park in PA. went the end of April, got down to about 35 at night. I was very comfortable. I didnt even sleep in the whole thing, mainly zipped about 2/3 the way up and had my arms free. I did sleep in long underwear. The only con is it packs down but could go a little smaller. It got down to like a basketball. Again this was the large so maybe the regular will pack down a little smaller.
