Comments about THERM-A-REST NeoAir Trekker Sleeping Pad:
I used this pad for an 8 day bike trip and found it to be sooo comfortable! Although I think that it took more to inflate than 20 breaths that the salesman told me, it was certainly worth the effort!

Comments about THERM-A-REST NeoAir Trekker Sleeping Pad:
I got this to put on top of my new thermarest luxury lite cot. The cot + sleeping pad is more comfortable than my bed! I'm 43 and field biologists working in rainforests. I am getting a little tired of sleeping on the ground with a foam mat, and so chose this combination to alleviate pressure spots and wetness. Overall my 'field' bed now weighs about 3.5 lb. Its a bit heavy, but wow is it worth the bit of extra weight. I sleep quite well. As for the pad itself. It slides a bit on the cot, but that seems to stop when you put on liner or sleeping bag. Its also a little bit cold on top of the cot. These are small prices to pay for comfort when you need to have rest to make 12 hour forays into the forest each day. Highly recommended!!

Comments about THERM-A-REST NeoAir Trekker Sleeping Pad:
Before mine started to deflate, the only complaint i would have is that the fabric absorbs sweat very easily. If you use this for an extended amount of time (like I am on my AT thru hike) dont buy it! Mine stinks to all hell and isn't easy to clean like the yellow neoair. Maybe this is better suited for the occasional use of a car camper. I bought this over the regular neoair because this was supposed to be more durable, but that turned out to not be the case. Just fork over the extra money for the yellow neo air, and enjoy its lighter weight. After I submit this, I am hopping in the car and returning my pad.
