My LL Bean Manatee DLX is essentially a Perception Prodigy 10 that's been all dolled up, but they left out one of the best things about the prodigy, the aft drain plug! Getting water out of my boat was a chore and a half even with the hatch cover open. Now I can drain by boat by removing the plug, flipping it upside down, and tilting the bow up.
The only problem is that this kit requires either a 1" drill bit or Hole Saw, and some silicone adhesive (read caulking) which you'd need to pick up if you don't have it already. I suggest using the hole-saw bit rather than a spade or auger bit to make the center hold nice and neat. Otherwise, it was a snap to install (less than 10 minutes) and once it's cured overnight, you're good to go.
All you need is a flat spot on the top fore or aft deck to mount it and you're set.

Ordered this plug to replace the rubber stopper plug on my kayak. Because of the plug design on my kayak this plug would not fit. i would have to drill another new plug hole inorder to use this kit. I actualy had to machine my own plug for my kayake. If you have a nice flat spot on your kayak then this kit should work just fine.
