I bought two of these to hook my (Osprey) water bladder to my Katadyn water filter. I put one on the end of the outflow tube of the water filter and the 2nd on the tube (close to the body) of the water bladder. I was able to successfully filter water straight from the stream into the bladder (though I had to open the bad in order to avoid high pressure buildup in the bag. Was very easy to install and works very well.

I used this to add an extra reservoir to my CamelBak HAWG for my dogs. The quick clip allows me to add an extension tube with an Ergo HydroLock without the bite valve so I can quickly snap on the tube and siphon water into their collapsible bowl without having to take my Camelbak off. It works great!
