Comments about PEARL IZUMI Men's X-Alp Seek Bike Shoes:

These shoes are good if you must have a shoe with an integrated cleat. I found the drawbacks too great and ended up going with Power Grips straps. The cons are the feeling of the cleat underfoot while walking is unbearably irritating and painful, for me, and the sole is too stiff while walking to bear. I have kind of wide feet, and wear orthotics in my shoes. I sort of have problem feet. Maybe for someone else these would work great, but for me I prefer a pair of trail shoes and the Power Grips pedal straps. To each his own.

Shoes run very small. 3 tries to get the correct size. Look and feel good.

Comments about PEARL IZUMI Men's X-Alp Seek Bike Shoes:

This shoe is okay, but not great. It may just be that I feel like a 43.5 would be better, because the 43 and the 44 don't work well for me. Alas, no half sizes. The shoe is not super comfortable to walk in, I can feel the cleat grinding below the ball of my foot. That may be germain to the breed of shoe, and is perhaps an unfair criticism.
