Boot Fitter
The goal: properly introduce feet of all shapes and sizes to the boots they were born to wear.
The rules: no chafing, rubbing, over-pronating, or any other form of pain or discomfort allowed on the fitting floor or in the mountains.

The forefoot is the natural flex point of your foot; it plays a key role in balancing your movement and propelling you forward. Forefoot width - the widest part of your forefoot - plays a key role in boot selection and fit. You may have a narrow forefoot if the eyelits of your boots are very close together when laced tightly. Or you may have a wide forefoot if the eyelits of your boots are spread far apart when laced tightly.
Your forefoot should always be aligned with the flex point of your boot. If your forefoot is cramped inside the boot, your comfort and balance will be compromised. Minimal fit issues can be fixed with socks, footbeds, and lacing techniques.
The heel is the anchor of the foot. Properly fit footwear firmly holds your heel in the correct position and helps you maintain the most natural, comfortable gait. The size of your heel plays a key role in boot selection and fit. The heel of the boot should fit snugly and allow only a small amount of heel lift. Minimal fit issues can be addressed with modifications to your socks, footbeds, and lacing techniques.
