Not Waterproof

By Boltonian Hiker

from Bolton Landing, NY

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Men's WindWall 2.0 Triclimate Jacket:

On a recent trip to southern Patagonia I wore this jacket and got soaking wet hiking in wind driven rain/snow. The jacket was purchased in anticipation of those conditions and did not live up to expectations.

Front pocket ripped

Pros

  • Nice looking comfortable

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Cold windy days

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Men's WindWall 2.0 Triclimate Jacket:

I like the jacket. Looks nice and is warm. The inside of the chest pocket ripped the first time I wore it when I put my cell phone inside. This caused my cell to fall down inside the shell lining. Im willing to give the benefit of the doubt that either I just got a bad one or that someone may have done it when they tried it on at the store. I returned it to the store the next day but they had no more in my size so Im awaiting my replacement. Hopefully that one is better.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Men's WindWall 2.0 Triclimate Jacket:

I used the North Face WindWall jacket this winter and it was one of the warmest lightweight jackets I've worn. Not like other jackets that are heavy and weigh you down. This is my fourth North Face jacket and my two kids have them as well.
