Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Freedom LRBC Insulated Pants:

I bought these for skiing but with the cold snap here in the northeast (it was below 10 this morning) I put these on for my early morning walk with the dog. I was incredibly warm with just a thin pair of yoga pans underneath, I hope to be really toasty while skiing with thermals on too. The pants fit great, slightly big at the waist which is great for layering. The pants are a little bulky (aren't most ski pants?) and make a lot of noise with the pant legs rubbing together when I walk (that's the only con I can really think of). If you want to be warm and comfortable at a good price, these are the pants for you!

Very strange fit! Did not feel comfortable at all in these snowpants so I returned them. They were bulky and stiff not ideal for skiing.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Freedom LRBC Insulated Pants:

I got these in a small short, as the small regular was too long. I am 5'5", 120lbs with a long waist and short legs. The length was good at my heels but the length between the waist and crotch was really short and dug in uncomfortably. If you get the short, consider if you are long waisted or not. Also they seemed not thick enough to really we warm enough on their own, but I didn't actually use them so I can't say for sure. Otherwise they were stylish and seemed well made. Just didn't work for my body.

Great quality ski/snowboard pants. Wore them on a very cold day and kept me warm and dry. Exactly what I expect from The North Face and EMS.

Comments about THE NORTH FACE Women's Freedom LRBC Insulated Pants:

I have been wearing these pants everyday during our relatively extreme winter weather of below freezing snow and ice/rain storms. I can layer these pants with wool base layer and it makes the perfect combination of warm and dry. I can also just wear the pants when it is not too cold but very wet and slushy, and I stay perfectly dry. I am wearing them as bike pants on my commute to work and keep them on all day.. I would like the same pants but narrower at the ankle for bike riding. Surprisingly, even though there is contact with the pants to the chain, the pants are not getting damaged. But an ideal pair of bike pants would not have contact.
