Comments about WILDERNESS SYSTEMS Angler Essential Kit:

Found this WILDERNESS SYSTEMS Angler Essential kit on EMS. After ordering I found out that the same angler essential kit is offered by Harmony. EMS is the only company selling it as a Wilderness Systems product as far as I could tell. This kit is far overpriced for what you receive. There were only instructions for mounting the flush rod holder, nothing else (and they are poorly written). There are no screws included for mounting the Scotty rod holder. The screws included for the flush mount rod holder are flat screws when it is clearly designed for beveled head screws. This kit is a miserable mess. Most of the included items are cheap.

Comments about WILDERNESS SYSTEMS Angler Essential Kit:

Gear mounted on a WS Pungo 120:Flush mount rod holder works perfect and was easy to mount. Only issue was it was hard to find a "sweet spot" to mount it flush like the pictures.Scotty rod holder is great but I am 5'5 with T-rex arms so I mounted it on the kayak console that came with my pungo. WS has it mounted forward of the cockpit on their pungo angler 120/140 and that is way too far forward for me.Anchor works like an anchor should. I will be adding a longer line for it but the 30' it came with is fine if that's all you need.Issues I had:1: there was no mounting hardware for the scotty included. I am sure that was just a simple mistake and I just managed to get the unlucky box.I spent about 6 bucks on some nice stainless mounts at [@].2: The picture fooled me as this package does not come with paddle clips. paddle clips are in the picture but not in the description. I bought them separately for around 10 bucks. In the end those issues were not worth bothering the store over.
