SUP Fitness


Take your fitness outside the gym by combining paddling, plyometrics, strength training and more, all on a stand up paddle board! This full body low impact workout challenges your every muscle all while honing your balance. Class begins with a half and hour of paddle insturction, showing you how to engage your core using the proper paddle techniques and how to maneuver on your board. The next hour we will combine paddle sprints, balance challenges and strength exercises using your body weight, bands and more. No experience necessary and all exercises can be modified for any fitness level.

Classes are available as well as private group sessions. If you want a more intensive one-on-one experience, book a private personal SUP training session. At the end of the session, you will be hooked and wanting to come back for more!

Paddlers will be outfitted with all paddling equipment for the day, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment. Equipment provided includes SUP board, paddle and PFD. Paddlers will be expected to arrive dressed appropriately for the weather and provide their own meals for the day. See gear list for complete list of items you will be responsible for bringing.

Cancellation Policy

Payment is due in full at time of reservation to secure your reservation. Events run rain or shine. Eastern Mountain Sports Schools reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events for low participation, weather or safety concerns at any time. We will try to give as much advance notice as possible, but may not always be able to give much advance warning, especially for weather cancellations. Cancellations or schedule changes 8 days or more prior to the event start date will be fully refunded or credited with no penalty. Reservation changes of any kind within 7 days of the event start date will not be refunded and you will not be allowed to carry over deposits to future events. For participants 17 or younger, a parent must sign a waiver form prior to climbing. If you have any questions please call 800-310-4504.
