• Octopus polarized photochromic lenses darken or lighten depending on light intensity; VLT changes from 20% to 5%
  ~ VLT (Visible Light Transmission): percentage of available light allowed to reach the eye; the lower the number, the darker the lens
• NTS technology allows the lens to change regardless of temperature
• Water-repellent lens coating makes water slide off of the lens and prevents hydrogen bonds from forming between water molecules for improved visibility
